Mark has been an icon in Asian business aviation for 35 years, has assembled and led world-class teams of highly seasoned business aviation professionals, implemented the region’s first ICAO compliant Safety Management System for business aviation, and has a reputation for unsurpassed dedication and is always offering to help his industry colleagues.
Mark has held top leadership roles in Asia and was instrumental in the growth of business aviation in the region. Through his strong ability and leadership, Metrojet’s fleet grew from two aircraft to over twenty-five in just four years, and he led the buildup of the first full business jet MRO with multiple approvals from various OEM’s and regulatory agencies.
Mark was the Regional Director of Product Support for Gulfstream Aerospace and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management and an MBA in International Business. His 35-year aviation career took off in the U.S. Marine Corps as an F-4 Phantom and F-18 Hornet fighter aircraft Plane Captain and Engineering Supervisor.
He also held mission-critical business, quality and safety compliance management roles for aviation companies on a global scale. He is a land and seaplane pilot who holds an FAA airframe and power plant (A&P) license with inspector authorization, as well as being an ISBAO and ISO 9001 QMS Auditor.
